Speaker Bios

Sue Bulloch

Sue Bulloch is EVP and Senior Group Administration and Finance Manager for the National Finance Group (NFG), the consumer lending division for Bank of the West. Sue's core responsibilities include overseeing accounting, regulatory reporting, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting for NFG. In her 16 year career with the Bank, Sue has held various positions in the Equipment Finance Division and Corporate Finance.

Sue is a founding member of Women's Connection, the Bank's first employee affinity group. Its mission is facilitating an environment supportive of the personal and professional growth of Bank of the West employees through coaching, education and networking. Currently, she co-leads the Geographic Councils which consist of local area volunteers who organize and host events targeting topics such as careers and women's issues and encouraging overall employee engagement.

Prior to joining Bank of the West, Sue served as Assistant Controller for California Federal Bank/First Nationwide Bank and earned her CPA while working for Deloitte & Touche in San Jose, CA. Sue earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University. A native of the Bay Area, Sue lives with her husband and two teenagers in the East Bay.

Laura Stein

Laura Stein is senior vice president – general counsel of The Clorox Company, with responsibility for the company's worldwide legal, ethics and compliance, corporate secretary, corporate communications, crisis management, risk management and internal audit matters. Stein serves on the Clorox executive committee, chairs the Clorox women's employee resource group, and co-sponsors the company's social responsibility and enterprise risk management programs, among other responsibilities. She works closely with Clorox's board of directors on governance matters.

Laura is on the board of Equal Justice Works, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, the Harvard Law School Program on the Future of the Legal Profession, and the American Judicature Society. She participates in the Diversity and Flexibility Connection of the Project for Attorney Retention and is a director of Franklin Resources, Inc. (a global investment organization known as Franklin Templeton Investment).

Previously, Laura was senior vice president – general counsel of the H.J. Heinz Company, and was a corporate lawyer with Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Laura earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and undergraduate and master's degrees from Dartmouth College. She and her husband Mark Conrad are the proud parents of Amanda and Christopher.

Teresa Mayer

Teresa Mayer is the CFO and Director of Finance for Chevron Energy Solutions, a position she assumed in July of 2010. In this role, Teresa is responsible for the oversight of accounting, finance, project finance, compliance, and information technology.

She began her Chevron career in 1993 as a financial analyst based in San Ramon, CA. Since then, she has held a broad range of assignments of increasing responsibility in Comptroller's, Credit, Treasury, Investor Relations, Audit and Global Downstream at Chevron locations in the United States and Singapore.

Teresa serves as chairperson for the Chevron Federal Credit Union, Credit Review Board.

Teresa earned her Bachelor's degree in accounting from Arizona State University, and her Master's in International Business from the University of Southern California.

Sandra Pham

Sandra Pham is the Vice President and CFO for Finance Operations at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, she is responsible for monitoring the overall financial health and viability of the Finance Operations comprised of: Procurement & Supply, Financial Services, Revenue Cycle, and Onelink.  As a member of the Finance Operations Leadership Team, Sandra participates in business decisions to maximize the value of investments and helps shape the business by tracking the progress and forecasting the outcomes of key operations against planned objectives.  Before joining Finance Operations, Sandra spent four years as the Vice President of Finance for National Facilities Services.  Responsibilities include financial management of  Kaiser Permanente's $2.4B annual capital program and joint management of $600M in annual operating expenditures for the enterprise.  Prior to Kaiser Permanente, Sandra worked in international healthcare as a consultant for AmeriCares, an international relief organization and to the University of Kenyatta in Nairobi, Kenya. She has also been involved with the Institute of Health Services Research at the University of Minnesota and the Bush Center for Policy Development at Yale University.

Sandra serves on the board of the Women's Initiative for Self Employment, a non-profit providing training and micro-financing to women and as a business mentor with the UC Berkeley SAGE program. She serves on the board of the Oakland Zoo and as a leadership council member of LeaderSpring, providing coaching to community-based organizations. Sandra is also a member of the executive advisory board for the Yale University Healthcare Conference.

Sandra received a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Psychology at the University of Minnesota, a M.P.H. at Yale University and is a Certified Management Accountant.
