FWSF Scholarship Recipient Recognized by Her Community

Tanya GuptaTanya Gupta, one of the FWSF 2014 graduate scholarship recipients, has been specially recognized by her community.

Diana Rohini LaVigne wrote these articles about Tanya which posted on September 22, 2014 in India West and was published in the July – September 14 edition of NRI World.

Further to the articles, Tanya’s outstanding commitment and talent led her to be one of 11 candidates who received a scholarship from the FWSF. These ladies were selected from a pool of 90 plus other highly talented ladies who interviewed for the scholarships in 2014. Sarah Whitelaw or Hall Capital had this to say of her mentee – “Tanya’s commitment to pursuing a master’s degree in financial engineering at Haas WHILE raising an infant is truly inspiring. Either of those endeavors on their own are daunting and to think that she is taking on the challenge of both simultaneously leaves me in awe. Of Tanya’s many attributes, in particular I admire her humility, positive spirit and dedication to BOTH career and family. She is quick to smile and her laugh is infectious. Any employer would be very fortunate to have her on their team!”
