The Shock of the New: An Evening at SF MOMA

After being closed for three years of expansion, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art reopened its doors this spring to great critical acclaim and excitement. Join us for the hottest ticket in the Bay Area art world – a private, docent-led tour of the Doris and Donald Fisher Collection, widely considered to be among the world’s greatest private collections of postwar and contemporary art. The collection includes works by Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Agnes Martin, Gerhard Richter, Cy Twombly, Willem de Kooning, Richard Diebenkorn, Alexander Calder, Sol LeWitt, Richard Serra and Chuck Close, among others.

Following the hour-long tour, we’ll congregate at the nearby Press Club wine bar and lounge for an informal no-host gathering. Individuals who are inspired to see more art, can tour the rest of the museum until closing.
