Flux at Bedford GalleryJoin us for a delightful evening of learning, tasting and networking. We will start the evening with a docent-led tour of “Flux” — the latest exhibit at the Bedford Gallery at the Lesher Center. Internationally renowned artist Crystal Wagner has created a large-scale, immersive piece that utilizes the entire gallery. Her colorful, mind-blowing installation are built from ordinary materials such as tablecloths and office supplies to form swirling, imaginative environments that appear to grow organically out of the gallery walls.

After the tour, we will walk a few short blocks to We Olive & Wine Bar for a wonderful Napa Valley experience right in Walnut Creek. We will taste artisan-produced wines paired with tapas made with We Olive’s extra virgin olive oil. There will be lots of time for socializing and networking.

Can't make the Bedford Gallery exhibit? Please feel free to meet us at We Olive.

In the spirit of FWSF’s philanthropic mission, we will be collecting art supplies for Sparkle Foundation, a Bay Area non-profit organization whose vision is to create a world where less fortunate women and children have a “sparkle” in their eyes. Sparkle is participating in a backpack back-to-school drive and we would like to help them fill these backpacks with crayons, markers, paper, scissors, etc. If you would like to participate, please bring your donation to our event - we will have a representative sharing more information about Sparkle that evening.

Members, earn free admission by volunteering to do an event writeup and include photographs. Contact Sandra Camacho for further information.
