2017 Outlook – Investing a Step Ahead of Change

Industry Leadership Series - East Bay

In a constantly evolving world, big secular changes can potentially lead to investment opportunities. With the Presidential Inauguration just a few days before our event, Michelle Borre, Oppenheimer Funds, will share her 2017 Capital Markets Outlook and thoughts on where to find investment opportunities in the coming year under the new Trump administration. She will discuss historical themes where she has found investment opportunities over the past decade, including sub-prime mortgage, slow-down in China, secular shifts in media (digital age) and the recession in offshore energy. She will also share her experience of becoming Lead Portfolio Manager at Oppenheimer as a woman in the financial services industry.
