Please join us for a panel of three distinguished women executives to discuss their careers, overcoming barriers and family/work balance and achieving that elusive goal. Our panelists will share with you their inspiring stories of successfully juggling career and family. Please join us for a lively interactive discussion moderated by FWSF scholarship recipient and finance entrepreneur Kristina Hentschel.

PANEL MEMBERS

Katie HallKathryn A. Hall

Katie Hall is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Hall Capital Partners LLC which she founded in 1994. She is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and Investment Review Committee. Previously, Ms. Hall was a General Partner of Laurel Arbitrage Partners, a risk arbitrage investment partnership that she founded in 1989. Prior to that, she was a General Partner of HFS Management Partners (predecessor to Farallon Capital Partners), HFS Partners I, and Hellman & Friedman. Ms. Hall began her career at Morgan Stanley where she worked in both the risk arbitrage and mergers and acquisitions departments.

Currently, Ms. Hall is the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Princeton University. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as well as the Federal Reserve Banks's 12th District Economic Advisory Council.

Previously, she served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Princeton University Investment Company (PRINCO) from 2008 to 2011 and as a director from 1998 to 2011. She also served on the boards of Juma Ventures, Larkin Street Youth Center, Mills College, San Francisco Ballet Association, San Francisco Day School, St. Ignatius College Preparatory, Stanford Management Company, Thacher School, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, as well as the board and investment committee of the UCSF Foundation. She was a Director of the American Century Mountain View Funds from 2002 to 2007.

Ms. Hall graduated cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in Economics and earned an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Marina GraciasMarina Gracias

Marina Gracias is currently a Managing Director with Accenture in their Financial Services practice. Prior to joining Accenture in June 2013, Marina was the Chief Procurement Officer for both Visa and Providian Financial and prior to that was the Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Providian Financial. Marina has experience in both structuring and negotiating commercial contracts - outsourcing, consulting, financing and in mergers and acquisitions globally.

Marina has a MBA and BS from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and a JD from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of Bizworld.

Tracy TealTracy Teale

Tracy is an audit stockholder with RINA Accountancy Corporation, a regional public accounting firm with 60-years of experience serving clients in the Greater East Bay, San Francisco and the Sacramento/Roseville markets. RINA's focus is primarily on small and medium-sized privately held businesses and their owners and serves a variety of industries, including not for profit organizations. Tracy has extensive experience providing audit and attest services to both for-profit and non-profit businesses in a variety of industries. Tracy assists many of her clients with accounting issues and the design of processes and systems. Tracy also has extensive experience in setting up or modifying accounting systems. Prior to joining RINA in 1997, Tracy worked in private industry as a CFO for 10 years.

Tracy holds a Masters in taxation and an MBA from Golden Gate University. She earned a B.A. in Economics from University of California at Santa Cruz and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California at Berkeley.

 Amanda WallisKristina Hentschel

Kristina Hentschel is a finance executive and entrepreneur with 20 years of accounting, finance and operations experience in the sports/entertainment, private equity, health care, real estate and non-profit sectors. She is a co-founder of Base Beyond, which produces and leases unique and self-sufficient living spaces that transform any event into an unforgettable experience. Kristina also provides CFO consulting services to a portfolio of clients, including Bay Grove and SFMade. Previously she held positions as CFO and Corporate Development Officer at Women’s Professional Soccer, Executive Director at GirlVentures and CPA at Deloitte. Kristina earned her BBA from the University of Michigan and holds MBA’s from The Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and Columbia Business School. She was a 2008 FWSF Scholarship Recipient and currently is an active mentor and member of the FWSF Mentor Committee. Kristina is a six-time Ironman finisher who loves international and adventure travel.
