Ashley Fieglein Johnson is Chief Financial Officer of Planet, a geospatial imaging company that images the entire Earth every day to make global change visible, accessible, and actionable. Ashley joined Planet at an exciting time as the company continues to grow its business and scale globally. Leading an already stellar finance team, Ashley will own investor relations, mergers and acquisitions and business planning, and help Planet build a strong, predictable commercial enterprise.
Before joining Planet, Ashley was both the CFO and chief operating officer (COO) at Wealthfront, a nextgen banking service that helps young professionals manage their savings. In her role as CFO/COO, Ashley supervised finance and accounting, legal and compliance, brokerage operations, client service, employee engagement, HR and recruiting. Prior to joining Wealthfront, Ashley held a range of senior leadership positions within ServiceSource that included Executive Vice President, Chief Customer Officer, Interim CEO and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to ServiceSource, Ashley founded GreenAtom, a professional services firm focused on advising companies in the Clean Technology industry on financial strategy, business development and organizational structure. Ashley also spent several years with General Atlantic, a private equity firm servicing the technology industry, where she helped build and manage its presence on the West Coast. Before General Atlantic, Ashley led International Business Development for Ariba and worked in both venture investing and investment banking for the technology corporate finance division of Morgan Stanley.
Ashley has extensive leadership expertise across a wide range of areas, from corporate strategy, business development and finance to building and leading executive teams in the technology space. She is also multilingual, including fluency in Spanish and German, proficiency in Japanese and French, and beginner Swedish.
Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master in International Policy from Stanford University.
Julianne is a dynamic healthcare AI executive and board leader who has spent the last 20+ years generating value for stakeholders through the launch & scale-up of category-defining products and services. This expertise has facilitated the close of billions in successful fundraising and M&A initiatives for her organizations, and has led to the worldwide adoption of many successful AI-enabled digital health & biopharma products.
She currently serves in various board and strategic advisory roles for several mission-driven organizations. This includes serving as an Audit Committee Chair for CureSearch and as an Operating Advisor to How Women Invest, a venture fund changing the VC landscape. In these roles, she utilize my broad business expertise as well as formal training as a CPA, SHRM-CP, GenAI expert, and a certified board director (NACD.DC) to advise organizations on a wide range of strategic initiatives including business transformations, financing transactions, and GTM strategy for novel products.
Professionally, she is a Managing Director at Danforth Advisors, leading growth for the firm’s West Coast region and serving as an interim CFO to late-stage tech bio/digital health companies. Our firm advises private and public life science companies on funding strategy, corporate development, and commercial execution and is based in all major US and international biotech markets. Her past operating experience spans finance, corporate development, strategic growth, and operations roles at organizations including Bank of America, Deloitte, Blue Shield’s Manifest MedEx, Alveo Technologies, and BlackThorn/Neumora Therapeutics (NASDAQ: NMRA).
She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in business administration from CSU Fresno, as well as a Business Analytics certificate from Harvard University. In her spare time, you'll find her figuring out the latest news on technology or training for half marathons with her Siberian Husky, Callie, and she recently completed both the California Golden State Running Challenge and Beach Cities Challenge.
Kristina Hentschel serves as CFO and COO at Bay Grove, where she oversees the firm’s finance, accounting, human resources, and investor relations operations. A seasoned and entrepreneurial financial executive, Kristina has held CFO roles at companies including Voxer, Cloverpop, Clinovations, Launchpad Digital Health, and Copia Global, through Gilman Group, LLC—the fractional CFO firm she founded in 2017. Earlier in her career, she served as CFO for Women’s Professional Soccer and played a pivotal, hands-on role across multiple startups during the dotcom boom and bust, often acting as the right hand and jack-of-all-trades in high-growth, high-pressure environments.
Deeply committed to empowering the next generation of female leaders, Kristina has served as a volunteer and mentor with the Financial Women of San Francisco (FWSF) and SportsBridge and served as both Executive Director and Board Member at GirlVentures, a nonprofit focused on outdoor leadership and development programs for adolescent girls.
Kristina began her career as a CPA in Deloitte’s Real Estate Group in San Francisco and was honored as a FWSF scholarship recipient in 2008. She holds a BBA in Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and earned her MBA through the dual-degree program at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Columbia Business School.
Outside of work, Kristina is an accomplished endurance athlete. She has completed seven Ironman triathlons—including the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii—and most recently ran the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim.

She has guided more than 50 companies of all sizes and industries in applying the best practices for process standardization, design thinking, and decision-making frameworks. Throughout her career, Ramya has leveraged cutting edge enterprise performance management technology in finance, operations, and sales.
