It's wonderful to have donors just "find" us from afar...Anne Chambers, a long-time FWSF board member, reached out to determine who the "mystery donor" has been to our FWSF scholarship fund. She discovered that Progressive Investment Management has been providing a $1,000 corporate donation. Amanda Plyley, Director of Operations, shared that Progressive Management is an Oregon-based Registered Investment Advisor focused on investing with an environmental and social lens. Amanda indicated they "found Financial Women of San Francisco a couple of years ago when evaluating organizations who are making an impact on diversity in our industry. As a small RIA firm, Progressive doesn't hire frequently or have the resources to offer internship opportunities, but we would like to contribute to growth opportunities on the West Coast for young women pursuing careers in investment management. Thank you for volunteering your time and resources to support the next generation."
