SAN FRANCISCO – May 8, 2024 – Financial Women of San Francisco (FWSF) today named Lisa Pantages as the FWSF 2024 Financial Woman of the Year. Ms. Pantages is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the San Francisco Giants. FWSF is particularly excited to award the organization’s highest honor to a female sports executive, a sector which FWSF has not previously recognized. When she assumed her role as CFO, Lisa became the first woman to ever hold the position at the Giants and one of just a few in all of Major League Baseball. The San Francisco Giants are one of the oldest and most successful teams in Major League Baseball history, with more wins than any team in the history of major American sports. SAN FRANCISCO—Financial Women of San Francisco (FWSF), an organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women for over 60 years, names eleven students attending six Bay Area universities as its 2020 scholarship recipients. FWSF has awarded over $2.7 million in scholarships over the past 30 years to more than 300 Bay Area women.
The FWSF scholarship grants—$10,000 for undergraduate and $15,000 for graduate students— support each recipient’s educational goals. Beyond financial support, FWSF scholarship recipients also receive opportunities to be mentored by FWSF members and attend career development and networking events.

SAN FRANCISCO, May 16, 2013 – The Financial Women’s Association (FWA) of San Francisco has selected Patricia E. (Pat) Yarrington, as the 2013 Financial Woman of the Year. This award recognizes Yarrington for her decades of corporate financial leadership at Chevron and role as the chairman of the San Francisco Federal Reserve board of directors. Yarrington joined Chevron as a financial analyst over 30 years ago and gradually gained responsibilities culminating with her designation as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2009.
