Launch of FWSF’s WIN Alliance

FWSF has launched an initiative to gather the leaders of Women’s Interest Networks (WIN) at Bay Area financial firms and FWSF sponsors. The group’s inaugural meeting was held on October 18 and hosted by Wells Fargo. More than 20 attendees from over a dozen different firms gathered over lunch to talk about their WINs. After introductions, the group shared experiences – what works, what challenges are faced and topics of most interest to their members. The shared passion of finding ways to help women advance their careers was clearly evident by the high level of energy around the table. Everyone in attendance wanted to continue talking beyond the end of the lunch hour. The group will meet again in January.
