Kim Pugh is founder and principal of YurPath Solutions and has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and other industry groups. YurPath Solutions is a boutique consulting practice that guides clients in enhancing customer and employee experience, creating product solutions, improving processes, and developing post-merger strategies that mitigate customer impact and increase revenue.
Prior to launching YurPath Solutions, Kim held several positions at Wells Fargo Bank. As a senior vice president, Kim frequently built and managed groups from the ground up and delivered results in areas ranging from customer experience & research, business development, and corporate relationship management to digital channels, process re-engineering, and merger integration. While at Mellon Bank (BNY Mellon), she had roles in funds positioning and financial analysis, managed various Operations groups, and as a manager of product design, led cross-functional teams to develop new or improved products and systems.
Kim earned her MBA and her BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. Lisa serves as a Global Lead Partner for one of KPMG’s largest technology accounts. Carrie is the CFO of Kraken, a global crypto platform which offers trading, investing, digital assets and financial tools. Carrie currently oversees finance, accounting, corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, tax and vendor management. Prior to Kraken, Carrie was the CFO of Tradeshift, a market leader in e-invoicing automation and an innovator in supplier financing. While at Tradeshift, Carrie drove company growth and scale while also helping to design and launch its trade finance offerings. Prior to Tradeshift, Carrie was the CFO of Metromile, an insure-tech startup that offers pay-per-mile car insurance. During her tenure, Carrie drove public company readiness, policy and revenue growth, and significant improvement in both margins and unit economics. Prior to Metromile, Carrie was the CFO of Lending Club where she helped grow the company into the world’s largest online marketplace connecting borrowers and investors. Over 6 years, Carrie helped scale the company from single digit revenue to over $500 million and in 2014 managed its IPO. Prior to Lending Club, Carrie was senior vice president and treasurer for Charles Schwab and CFO for the Schwab Bank, which she helped launch in 2003. Barbara Morrison, a Bay Area business and civic leader, is the founder and president of TMC Financing, a Certified Development Company that provides SBA commercial real estate financing. Ann Winblad is the co-founding Partner of Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. She is a well-known and respected software industry entrepreneur and technology leader. Her background and years of experience in the software industry have been chronicled in many national and international business publications.
Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, founded in 1989, was the first venture firm focused exclusively on software. In her over 30-year career as a venture capitalist, Ann’s firm has launched over 200 enterprise software companies and led investments that pioneered successful companies across the enterprise software sector: Business Intelligence, Analytics, Software Development, Integration, Data Center Optimization, Cloud Computing and Security.
Ann began her career as a systems programmer at the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis. In 1976 Ann, with three co-workers from the Federal Reserve Bank, founded Open Systems, Inc., a top selling accounting software company. Open Systems became the 27th largest software company in the United States when it was acquired in 1983. After the acquisition of Open Systems by UCCEL (a NYSE company), Ann served as a strategy consultant for clients including IBM, Microsoft, Price Waterhouse, and numerous start-ups. In addition, Ann has co-authored the book Object-Oriented Software and has written articles for numerous publications.
Ann received a B.A. in Mathematics and in Business Administration from the St. Catherine University (1973), as well as an M.A. in Education focused in International Economics from the University of St. Thomas (1975). Ann also has an honorary Doctorate of Law from the University of St. Thomas.
Ann has been recognized by many national publications including being named an inaugural member of Fortune’s Small Business Hall of Fame, awarded the Financial Woman of the Year by the San Francisco Financial Women’s Association (2007), the University of St. Thomas Distinguished Alumnus Award (2003) and The John F. Cade Award from the University of St. Thomas’s Graduate School of Business.
Ann has served as a Director of numerous start-up and public companies including Hyperion, Mulesoft, The Knot, Net Perceptions, Liquid Audio, Sonatype, and Ace Metrix.
