On December 3, over 65 FWSF members and their guests attended the 2014 holiday party and live auction. It was held again this year at the spectacular Wells Fargo Penthouse in downtown San Francisco.
The FWSF annual meeting was held prior to the auction where Tracy Teal officially took over as the new president of the association and was recognized as the Distinguished Member of Year. According to her peers, Tracy went above and beyond in her selfless service to FWSF by stepping up to take over as vice president and has been a cheerleader to the co-chairs and the organization. And, she always has a smile.
After appetizers and beverages, a lively auction was held to raise money for the FWSF foundation. The foundation provides scholarships for women studying finance from around the Bay Area. The auction included such items as accommodations in the Colorado Rockies and the Princeville resort in Hawaii, four Sharks tickets, and a golf lesson at the Presideo Golf Course.
A record amount of over $10,000 was raised from the auction - great work members!
