Annual meeting and holiday party

On the 3rd of December 2025 Financial Women of San Francisco members gathered for the annual holiday party and celebration at Robert Half in San Francisco. It was a great opportunity for members and guests to conclude the year by mixing and mingling in a warm atmosphere with tasty refreshments. The event was hosted by our 2025 FWSF President, Mona Ahmadi, who provided an annual review. “Our theme this year was “Empowering the Future.”

The FWSF board and committees, as Mona explained, collaborated to achieve 2025 goals.

  • Through the efforts of the Membership Committee and other board members, we welcomed 35 new members this year strengthening our community and our pipeline of future leaders.
  • Work accomplished by the Scholarship Committee enabled the celebration of our scholarship recipients, deepened our university partnerships, and built new ones.
  • The Marketing & Communications (MarCom) Committee elevated our visibility and amplified our mission across newsletters, social media, and publications.
  • Our Programs Committee delivered an exceptional year—from Economics, to Bloomberg, to SFMOMA and even navigated an unexpected venue cancellation for International Women’s Day with grace and resilience. We also expanded into new spaces including fintech.
  • Thank you to our Financial Woman of the Year (FWOTY) team for a beautifully executed celebration of Kristen Rhodes. And sincere thanks to our Fundraising Committee for leading fundraising during a particularly challenging year for nonprofits.
  • Our commitment to diversity through 3C work grew stronger.

We have a strong partnership with the SF Giants through Lisa Pantages and benefited from companies like Zuora’s generosity through donation matching. This year, we supported one another through personal losses, challenges, and change. We mentored, advocated, and lifted each other up. Mona reflected that ten years ago, FWSF raised the funds that made her FWSF scholarship possible and to have served as President this year was truly an honor.

Lastly, Mona followed with one of our important traditions, recognizing our Distinguished Member of the Year, Kim Scala.
